Relics is a series inspired by archeological remains and the everyday objects the earth conceals. The remnants that stand as evidence of societies and lives past— a reminder of impermanence. I began making this pieces and installing different configurations during the pandemic lockdown. The installations ranged from very ordered presentations to more chaotic presentations like the current version. The more disordered versions acknowledge the unpredictable shifts of a society in flux.
