The brick outline on the floor that is half inside, half outside the gallery demarcate the 480 SQ FT domestic space where I spent the majority of my time during the shut down. * The title “480 Square Feet of Los Angeles” is a nod to a 1986 cult movie, 40 square meters of Germany, which is set in 40 m² apartment unit in Hamburg, Germany. Ironically, my 480 square feet of voluntary pandemic confinement is roughly equal to 40 square meters.
