When the safer-at-home orders were first issued during the pandemic, I began using GPS to make daily maps of my movements while at home. I assumed the disruption to normal life would be short-lived, and I was interested in examining a new scaled-down reality of a single space and the slowed sense of time. I ended up recording maps for a full year. They evolved into a way of documenting the experiences both inside and out, personal and global.
